They provide assistance with medication management, activities of daily living, engaging programming, and coordination with outside health care providers.

Independent LIVING

Although most elderly people prefer to remain in the privacy and comfort of their own home, there are quite a few seniors that require a Care Giver while in their retirement homes, community centers.

Why the name?

For most people aspens are a tree synonymous with Colorado. If for no other reason we identify with this tree because Aspen Bowers is a Colorado Company born and bred in the state. We appreciate the incredible beauty that Colorado has to offer and desired to build a residence that is surrounded in that beauty and maintains that sense of place that is unique to Colorado.

These tree’s are special to us for another reason, aspens propagate through its root system and are interconnected underneath the earth. When one sees an aspen grove what may appear to be many individual trees can be a single interconnected entity. For Native Americans the aspen, like the related cotton wood and poplar trees, reflected the interconnectedness of all living things. For us it symbolizes the relationships between the residents and staff that is the strength and beauty of our community.

A bower as defined by Merriam-Webster is : an attractive dwelling or retreat a private apartment in a medieval hall or castle a shelter (as in a garden) made with tree boughs or vines twined together.

Our residence will be all three of these.
